“C” refers to air storage tank; “0.3” refers to the capacity of 0.3 m3
“8” refers to the maximum working pressure of 8 bar.
② Functions of air storage tank:
A. Storage of compressed air;
B. Pressure buffering. Because the pressure of the air discharged from the compressor fluctuates to a certain extent, the pressure of the compressed air at the air end can be more stable after installing an air storage tank;
C. Pre-removal of water. Part of the water vapor in the air has formed into liquid water drops after being compressed by the compressor. Most of these water drops will deposit at the bottom of the air storage tank. There is a blow-down valve at the bottom of the air storage tank, by which the water drops can be discharged manually or automatically.
③Selection of air storage tank:
The pressure of the air storage tank selected should be consistent with the working pressure of the air compressor, and its capacity shall be about 1/5-1/10 of the volume flow of the air compressor. If the environmental conditions permit, the large volume air storage tank can be selected to help store more compressed air and better pre-remove water.
